Privacy notice

1. Data controller
The data controller is Benoît RAUX, publisher of the LudoDot project. For any privacy question or request: contact@ludodot.com.
2. Purposes and legal basis
Your email address is used to manage your subscription and send essential information about the LudoDot launch, project developments and LudoDot updates. Processing is based on your consent. The consent checkbox is separate and unchecked by default, and subscription is confirmed through double opt-in.
3. Data processed
The form asks only for your email address. We also process the selected language, the status and technical proof of double-opt-in confirmation, and technical data strictly necessary for form security and email deliverability. We do not ask for your name, phone number, date of birth, postal address or a detailed player profile.
4. Recipients and processors
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS): management of the LudoDot — Launch Updates list, double opt-in, email delivery, deliverability, unsubscribes and technical subscription management. Brevo states that the databases used for these services are hosted within the European Union, including France, Germany and Belgium.
- Cloudflare: hosting, site delivery, Worker execution, security, abuse prevention and Cloudflare Turnstile.
- Google / Gmail: messages sent to LudoDot contact addresses may be forwarded to a dedicated Gmail mailbox. This applies to messages you choose to send and not to the Brevo marketing subscriber list itself.
5. Double opt-in
After form submission, Brevo sends a confirmation email. Your subscription is completed only after you activate the confirmation link. The public form response does not reveal whether an email address is already known.
6. Retention
Subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent or request erasure. A minimal record may be retained where necessary to continue respecting your objection to receiving further messages or to comply with a legal obligation.
7. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and, where applicable, portability of your data. You may withdraw consent at any time, including through the unsubscribe link provided in communications. To exercise your rights: contact@ludodot.com.
If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data-protection authority (CNIL) or your competent supervisory authority.
8. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Brevo states that the databases used for subscription management are hosted within the European Union. Some technical processing performed by Cloudflare and Google may involve processing or access from countries outside the European Economic Area. These providers state that relevant transfers are protected through applicable mechanisms, including the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
9. Cookies and tracking
The Soon page includes no advertising, retargeting, session replay or optional analytics. Cloudflare Turnstile is used only to protect the signup form against abuse. Any future change will be reassessed and, where required, an appropriate consent mechanism will be implemented.
10. Security, profiling and resale
The email address is not placed in a URL, intentionally written to application logs or sold. LudoDot performs no advertising profiling or retargeting on this page. Server-side validation, rate limiting, double opt-in and secret protection are used as security measures.
